Plot:
R is a zombie. After a zombie apocalypse, he shambles across an America filled with collapsed buildings, rusted cars, shattered windows, and abandoned high-rises. He can only grunt or moan and craves human brains to get high on their memories.
After eating the brains of a suicidal teen, R is overcome with love for the teen’s companion, Julie Grigio. R rescues Julie from his zombie pack and takes her back to his lair. She eventually leaves, and R follows her back to Citi Stadium, the largest remaining human refuge…

Reviews:
“Hoult has a blend of sweetness and vulnerability that gives R more depth than the average zombie. Palmer is fine as Julie, but this is really Hoult’s film, with much of his performance in his limpid, expressive eyes.” Marshall Fine, Hollywood and Fine
“… Warm Bodies has a touch of social commentary. Here’s there’s a smartly funny observation about technology turning us into zombies – how we are more connected yet less personal with each other. A thread about working together to stop prejudice is weaved in as well, and a clever switch which sees R terrified in the human world, mirroring Julie’s experience in the zombie one.” Alicia Malone, IGN
